I opened a group called 'lucid dreamers anonymous' and was a little discouraged that nobody seemed interested in this topic, so I'm glad I found this group! It sure is a fascinating topic. Once you have a lucid dream your life is never the same. I only wish I could have them more often, so if anyone can help me with that I would really appretiate it.

You are very right about your life never being the same after, Enrique. I know my whole perception of reality has changed completely. I funded this group because I am a lucid dreaming enthusiast. I am a member of a lucid dreaming board www.dreamviews.com . I have been there for over a year, and during this time it has grown immensely. More and more people are learning about this lifechanging activity. I would suggest you check this board out, it is really complete and has very very good information on all sort of LD related topics.

Meanwhile, we can also have our little community here to try and spread the word around...

Dream: I was at my Gym, and went into the locker room to shower...and it was co-ed. Beautiful naked girls all walking around. I thought..this is too good to be true...Lucid trigger. Took a beauty into the shower locker...then saw my GF in the next locker. I explained that this was a dream...proved it by flying around the locker room. They both wanted to fly too... so we flew outside and onto the roof of a building and ... use your imagination. Lucidity can be quite fun.

Hello everyone. Just found this group this morning so I joined. Ive been into lucid dreaming for about a month now and have had aweome resaults. I still have yet to have another lucid dreaming apart from the 2 I had before I knew what exatly it was. Although im starting to remember my dreams more then I usally do. I went from not being able to remembering one dream - Now I can remember at least 2 dreams every night.

I mean really. Who wouldn't want to lucid dream or remeber there dreams? Sleeping is such a waste of time as is. Why not make the most out of it as you can!

umm...thought I would make a little controbution to this group. I have this program that pops up at random times asking you to do a reality check. If you don't know what a Reality check is.

It is somthing you do during your waking life asking yourself if your dreaming and preforming a task that would show if your dreaming (ie: Pulling your finger. jumping, trying to put your finger through your palm) Now if you do this enough during the day chances are that you will preform this same test while you are dreaming and BAM! your lucid :)

If anyone is interested in this just tell me your email and ill send it over!

This one got published in the Pittsburg Post-Gazette, in one of their articles on this topic.

Many years ago, while I was readyng Ann Faraday's book "Dream Power" I had a lucid dream one night:

I was standing in front of a vast valley and there was a small hill in the middle of it. Everything was in full color, and somehow I became aware that I was dreaming. I thought I play with it a bit and commanded:" let there be a flood", and huge amounts of water started pouring out from behind the mountains in the horizon and the whole valley became a lake in a matter of seconds! Then I willed the hill, which was now an island in the middle of the lake, to start erupting like a volcano. Instantly this
awesome eruption of lava and rocks started spewing out of it. Some friend in the dream told me in an alarmed tone of voice that I shuldn't do this, and I told him 'why? it's my own dream!' I was so startled by all this that I woke up feeling elated.

It's funny how terribly misinformed people are about lucid dreaming. They think it's something occult or satanic, when it is everything but. It also definately is not something "new age-y". It is what it is. An awakening, spiritual and reality-bending experience. I don't see any ways in which this can hurt you...
